I don’t like what’s become of me when it comes to picking what music I want to listen to. I feel like the cold, database-driven structural perfection of the iTunes library has crippled my ability to relate to my music collection. Tonight I propose an idea that might help get me around this problem.

1. Export itunes metadata xml. I think itunes keeps album art in a folder.
2. Write a ruby script that creates images with track listing, album info, and cover image side-by-side.
3. Batch upload exported images to Flickr.
4. Order postcard prints using one of Flickr’s third-party printing services.
5. Nostalgically peruse music selection.
